FFM72011
Self Interference canceller module for 2.4 GHz coexistence
Note these are preliminary details and subject to change.
Modern connected devices must increasingly integrate multiple wireless transceivers, such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, Zigbee or Thread, operating within the same 2.4 GHz frequency band. When these radios operate simultaneously, the transmitted signal from one transceiver can couple into the receiver of another, causing receiver desensitisation, reduced communication range, packet loss and degraded system performance. This interference can occur even when the radios operate on different, non-overlapping channels, as the limited physical separation between antennas and RF circuits makes achieving sufficient isolation increasingly challenging.
FFM72011 addresses this challenge through adaptive RF signal cancellation, suppressing unwanted transmitter leakage before it impacts the neighbouring receiver. This enables simultaneous operation of independent wireless transceivers while reducing the need for antenna separation, complex filtering or time-based coexistence management.
FFM72011 is designed to support concurrent radio operation, reduce dependence on physical separation and provide greater flexibility when integrating multiple radios within a single product.
