Cambridge, UK 19th August 26. Forefront RF, a disruptive fabless semiconductor scaleup, is delighted to be attending the 2026 Semiconductor Talent Award Induction Event, taking place at the IET, Savoy Place, London on 8 September. The event will bring together industry partners, academic representatives and some of the UK’s emerging semiconductor talent.
Organised by the UK Electronics Skills Foundation (UKESF), the Government-funded award ceremony has been established to help address underrepresentation, improve social mobility and encourage talented young people to pursue careers within the UK semiconductor industry.
Semiconductors are underpinning enablers to the modern world. From smartphones and telecommunications to automotive, healthcare, defence and energy, semiconductor technology provides the processing, sensing, power management and connectivity capabilities behind many of the products and services we rely on every day.
The UK has an internationally recognised semiconductor sector, with particular strengths in design, innovation, photonics and compound semiconductors. Developing the next generation of engineers and technologists will be essential to maintaining that position and to supporting future technologies.
